What size does stainless steel sheet come in?
Like sheet, stainless steel plate comes in standard sizes varying in width from 4' to 8' and in length from 8' to 20', but can also be customized to suit the application.
Stainless cut plate may be sheared in thicknesses up to 3/8”, and plasma cut in thicknesses over that.
Is stainless steel harder to cut than regular steel?
That's stainless steel. Carbon steel, on the other hand, has a matte finish and has a higher tensile strength and is harder than stainless steel.
