317 stainless steel / UNS s31700 / 0cr19ni13mo3
316 stainless steel plate and 317 stainless steel plate are molybdenum containing stainless steel, of which the molybdenum content of 317 stainless steel is slightly higher than that of 316 stainless steel. Due to the molybdenum in the steel, the overall performance of the steel is better than 310 and 304 stainless steel. Under high temperature conditions, 316 stainless steel has a wide range of applications when the concentration of sulfuric acid is lower than 15% and higher than 85%.
317 (18cr-12ni-3.5mo) stainless steel has better pitting corrosion resistance than 316 steel. 317 stainless steel is used for printing and dyeing equipment and materials.
